In my opinion this is a clear Egyptian inspired object, very similar to the sphinx, for some reason the object reminds me of this.
Even without the enhancement and colorization which I have applied to the relic, you can make out quite clearly, that this is not an image artifact or a strange shaped rock.
The object is reasonably sized, I have estimated it to be the size of a large jewellery box or chest, so its not tiny by any means.
It could however be larger than this, what we are seeing in the raw image could actually just be the top section, a further and possibly much larger piece could be partially buried beneath the Martian soil.
Whatever this object truly is will probably remain a mystery, but hopefully NASA will soon send a manned mission to the red planet, and then maybe, just maybe --- they will show us what they really discover.

That thing is giant! What the heck did NASA think they were doing when they did this? NASA you egg heads! I bet its a crashed ship.
